HB Track

Track the time you put in. Bill for it.

HB Track is for anyone who tracks their hours and bills for them: freelancers, crew, contractors, consultants.

HB Track is in its first build. The iPhone and Mac apps come first, by TestFlight; the web app, with sign-in and plans, follows. Nothing is sold on this site yet.

The HB Track app on a phone: this week's hours by client as a chart, what is owed, and a draft invoice, with sample figures.

What it does today

Track

  1. Start a timer on a client. Stop it, and that time is on the sheet.
  2. Or log hours by hand, with a note.
  3. Hours by client, this week, as one chart.
  4. Time that is on an invoice is locked. Take its line off the invoice to change it.

Invoice

  1. Turn logged time into invoice lines. Add expenses and materials beside them.
  2. Issue the invoice and it gets its number and a due date. A draft stays a draft until then.
  3. Each client is billed in its own currency. Totals are per currency; nothing is converted or added across currencies.

Get paid

  1. Record a payment against an invoice, or a courtesy credit. The balance follows.
  2. See what is owed to you, and which invoices are overdue.
  3. A year of payments, month by month, as a report for your accountant.

What it is not

HB Track keeps records. It is not tax, legal or financial advice.

Sending an invoice by mail opens with accounts. Until then the document is there to read and share.

Nothing here sells a plan. Prices are on the pricing page, and subscribing opens with the web app.

With Hollywood Bestie

If you also get statements or royalties, Hollywood Bestie reads them. Your invoices and payments are one book across both; statements and royalties are not added into that book.

One account for both products opens with the web app.

The Package puts HB Track and Hollywood Bestie at its top level on one account and one bill.
