Terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-23.
These terms cover hbtrack.com, the HB Track apps and the HB Track web app, together the service. By using the service you agree to them.
Who we are
The service is provided by Tier 4 Support, Inc., a California corporation in Santa Monica, California, doing business as HB Track.
The service
HB Track keeps a book of your clients, time, invoices and payments. It keeps records; it is not tax, legal or financial advice, and a report it makes for your accountant is a report, not a filing.
The service is in its first build. The apps arrive first, the web app with sign-in and plans follows, and these terms are updated before anything is sold.
Your account
When sign-in opens, one account spans HB Track and Hollywood Bestie. You are responsible for what is done under your account and for keeping its credentials to yourself.
You may close your account at any time. Documents you issued stay readable and exportable to you until you delete them.
Plans, trials and billing
Plans are sold and billed on the web, in US dollars, monthly or yearly. The plans and their prices are on the pricing page.
Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, one per product per account. A trial does not restart when you change level.
A plan renews at the end of each period until you cancel it. When you cancel, the plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and no credit is carried for the rest of it.
Moving up takes effect when you pay, with the difference prorated for the rest of the period. Moving down takes effect at the end of the period you paid for.
Payments are taken by Stripe. The charge appears on your statement as TIER4* HBTRACK. We never see your card number.
An organization is billed per managed person per month, by band, on top of the plan that holds it.
Your book
Your clients, time, invoices and payments are yours. We do not sell them, and we use them only to run the service for you.
You are responsible for what you put in your book and for the invoices you issue from it, including their accuracy and any tax that applies to them.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to invoice for work that was not done, to send unwanted mail, or to probe, overload or interfere with it.
Availability and warranty
We work to keep the service up and your book intact, and we tell you when it is down. The service is provided as is, without warranty beyond what the law requires.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms. We post the new terms here with a new date and, once accounts exist, we tell you by email before a change that affects you takes effect.
We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we end the service, we give you notice and a way to export your book first.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of California, and any dispute is brought in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
